In April 2025, I collaborated with the marketing department at Washtenaw Community College to design a commemorative magazine celebrating alumna Aisha Bowe's historic spaceflight aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard NS-31 mission. As the first Bahamian-American woman to travel to space and a former NASA engineer, Bowe's achievement was a significant milestone for both WCC and the broader STEM community. The magazine's design aimed to reflect the pioneering spirit of this all-female crewed mission, blending dynamic layouts with compelling visuals to honor Bowe's journey from community college student to aerospace trailblazer.
